Maltira

You run the business.
We handle the online stuff.

Maltira is software and support shaped around your business. Every enquiry lands in one place, your website details stay right, and your screen shows only the things you actually use. We set it up and look after it, so it is not another system for you to learn.

Send us a message and a person reads it and replies. No sign-up and no card. We are starting with a small number of UK trades businesses.

Sound familiar?

The online side always ends up last.

Not because you do not care about it. Because there is a job on, and there is always a job on.

Somebody filled in the form on your website.

Three weeks ago. You never saw it. They rang somebody else that afternoon and you never knew the job existed.

Your opening hours have been wrong since Christmas.

You would change them if you knew where they lived, and if you had a spare twenty minutes, and if the person who built the site still answered the phone.

Every app you try wants you to learn it.

Twenty tabs, a settings page and a video course, when all you wanted was to stop losing work. So it gets left, and nothing changes.

None of that is a business problem. It is a nobody-has-time-for-it problem, and that is a much easier one to fix.

What changes

Somebody is looking after it.

Not another system you have to remember to use. People, with software set up around the way your business already works.

Enquiries stop going missing.

What comes through your website form, and the calls you note down, land in one place with the time they arrived and whether anyone has answered yet.

Your details are right on your website.

Tell us the hours have changed and we change them. Maltira then loads the page and checks the new words are really on it, and says so plainly if they are not.

Only the parts you use.

Every business works differently, so no two Maltira set-ups need to be the same. We switch on what helps you and leave the rest off, so there is no screen full of tabs you never open.

When something stops, we hear about it.

Maltira notices when your website goes quiet on it, or when a change did not appear, and tells us, so a person can look into it rather than it sitting unnoticed.

How it works

We set it up. You get on with work.

You keep the website you have already got. If you want Maltira to capture its enquiries and visits, we arrange installation of a small Maltira script with you or your website administrator.

We have a look at what you have got.

Your website and how enquiries reach you now. We tell you honestly what we can help with and what we cannot, and if it is a fit we set up a version shaped around your business for you to try for 48 hours.

We connect it and look after it.

The fiddly part is ours. We never ask for the password you sign in with: where Maltira needs to reach your website, it uses a separate access key you approve, and you can cancel it yourself whenever you like.

After that, you just tell us.

A message when the hours change or something needs doing, and we do the rest. You are not logging into anything unless you want to.

If you would rather do it yourself

Your screen, shaped around your business.

Most of the time you will just tell us and we will deal with it. But if it is nine at night and you would rather change the hours yourself, the screen is there.

No two are the same. If you only want your enquiries and your hours, that is all you see. If you keep track of stock or jobs, those are there too. Anything you do not use stays switched off.

When you change something, Maltira does not simply say “saved”. It goes and looks at your website, and tells you whether the new words are actually on the page. If they are not, it says that instead, and we are told too.

Websites built on WordPress today. If yours is something else, tell us what it is and we will give you a straight answer rather than sell you something that will not work.

Being straight with you

What Maltira does not do for you yet.

Most companies leave this bit off the website. We would rather you found out here than three weeks in.

Not switched on yet, and we will not pretend otherwise

Some connections still need application setup, provider approval or an authorised account before we can prove they work for a customer. Some capabilities need further work. None of the items below is part of what we offer you today, and we will tell you when that changes.

Posting to Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn or X

Readiness depends on the platform's access rules, our application setup and an authorised account. We will not say a connection works for a customer until it has been proved.

Google reviews, your Google listing and WhatsApp

These connections still need the relevant setup, account access and any required provider approval. They are not offered until that readiness has been proved.

Websites that are not WordPress

Wix, Squarespace and the rest each need their own work, and one or two genuinely will not let anybody change the words from outside. Tell us what yours is and we will say.

Invoices, quotes, payments and wages

Maltira is not accounting software. There are good tools for that and we are not trying to replace them.

Who you would be dealing with

Small on purpose, for now.

Maltira is a small UK outfit. It exists because the tools for this are either built for marketing agencies with somebody employed to run them, or they are one-size dashboards that show everybody the same screen whether it fits their business or not.

We are starting with a small number of businesses, so that everybody gets looked after properly while we learn what actually helps. If that is the wrong stage for you, it may well be, and we would rather say so now than take your money.

  • You keep control We never ask for the password you sign in with. You approve access yourself, and you can withdraw it at any time without going through us.
  • Your website stays yours We change the part you have asked us to change. Your layout, your photos and everything you wrote stay exactly as they are.
  • Your information is yours Ask, and we will send you everything we hold for your business, or delete it.
  • A plain agreement Maltira is a 12-month licence, paid for the year up front or in monthly instalments. The price depends on how much your set-up does, and we agree it with you before anything starts.
  • Based in the UK You are dealing with people in this country, and your information sits on servers in the EU.

Get in touch

Tell us about your business.

No obligation. Tell us what you have got and what is annoying you, and a person will read it and tell you honestly whether we can help yet. You will not be added to a mailing list.

We use what you send here to reply to you and nothing else. See our privacy policy.
