Run your business online, from one simple place.

Your enquiries, your website details and your Facebook posts — in one screen you actually understand. Maltira looks after the technical side. You look after the business.

No sales call needed to ask a question. We are taking a small number of clients while we get this right.

Catch

Nothing gets lost

Enquiries from your website land in one place, timed and tracked, with the junk filtered out but never thrown away.

Notice

We find out first

Maltira checks your website is still talking to us. If enquiries stop arriving, we know before you do.

Change

And it actually goes live

Change your opening hours once. Maltira puts them on your website — then loads the page and checks they are really there.

How Maltira works

We set it up. You just use it.

Most tools for this expect you to be the technical one. Maltira is the other way round: we do the connecting, the credentials and the fixing, and you get a screen with the things a business owner actually changes.

  • We connect what you already have. Your existing website and your Facebook page. You do not move anything, rebuild anything, or start again.
  • You change the things you care about. Opening hours, phone number, what you offer, a post about a job you have just finished.
  • Maltira does the technical part. Finding the right page, making the change, and confirming it appeared. You never see a login screen for anything but Maltira.
  • If something breaks, it is our problem. We are told automatically, and we fix it. You get told your enquiries are safe, because they are.

Enquiries

The job you never knew you missed.

Most trades lose work not because the enquiry was bad, but because it went to a form nobody checks, or a page that quietly stopped working after a redesign.

  • Every enquiry in one list From your website form, with the time it arrived and whether you have answered it.
  • Spam is judged, not deleted Suspected junk goes in its own list rather than the bin, because a misjudged enquiry is a lost job.
  • Reply from Maltira Your reply goes to them as an email from your business, and if they hit reply it comes back to you — not to us.
  • We watch the pipe itself If your website stops sending enquiries through, Maltira notices and tells us. That is the failure nobody catches on their own.

Website

Change it once. We check it landed.

Changing your opening hours should not mean ringing the person who built your site three years ago. It should take twenty seconds, and you should be able to believe it worked.

  • Opening hours and contact details You change them in Maltira. They appear on your website.
  • Maltira only touches its own bit We write inside markers we put there on purpose. Your layout, your photos and everything you wrote stay exactly as they are.
  • Then we look, with our own eyes After saving, Maltira loads your live page and checks the new words are visible on it. You get told what actually happened, not what we hoped.
  • Visitor figures that are measured, not guessed Counted by Maltira on your own site, so the number means something.

Saved here, but we could not update your website just now.Maltira has been told and is looking into itOur problem

Works with WordPress today. If your site is built on something else, tell us what it is — we will say honestly whether we can help yet rather than sell you something that will not work.

Social

One post, actually posted.

Write about the job you finished today, and it goes on your Facebook page — now, or on a date you choose. Maltira reads the post back from Facebook before it tells you it is up.

  • Post to Facebook from Maltira Straight away, or scheduled up to a month ahead. Facebook holds the scheduled ones, so they go out even if we are having a bad day.
  • Confirmed, not assumed Anyone can call an API and say "done". Maltira fetches the post back and checks the words are in it.
  • A post that fails does not disappear It stays on your screen marked as not sent, and we get told why.

Being straight with you

What Maltira does not do yet.

Software companies do not usually put this on the website. We would rather you found out here than three weeks in.

Not built yet, and we will not pretend otherwise

Everything on this page above this box is real and working today. Everything in this box is not, and we will tell you the day it changes.

Instagram posting

We can see your Instagram account if it is linked to your Facebook page, but we cannot post to it. Instagram will not accept a post without a picture hosted at a public web address, and Maltira does not store pictures yet.

Google reviews

Built and tested, but not switched on. Google has to approve access to their Business Profile API first, and that approval is not something we can rush. We will not claim it works until it does.

Websites other than WordPress

Wix, Squarespace and the rest each need their own work, and some of them genuinely will not let anybody change page text from outside. We will tell you which yours is.

Anything we have not built

No invoicing, no quotes, no payments, no payroll, no CRM. Maltira is about your online presence. Plenty of good tools already do the rest.

About

Small on purpose, for now.

Maltira is a small UK operation. It exists because the tools for this are either built for marketing agencies with a full-time person to run them, or they are cheap dashboards that show you numbers and change nothing.

Trades businesses do not need another login. They need the thing that is wrong to get fixed, and to be told the truth about whether it did. That is the whole idea, and it is why this site has a list of what does not work on it.

We are deliberately taking a small number of clients while we learn what actually helps. If that sounds like the wrong stage for you, it might well be — and we would rather say so now.
